Super Sunday!!

Yesterday was the third week running Bletchley Town members brought back silverware to the club making 2017 very successful.

Ben Triples @ Stony Stratford

Semi Final

Our ben triple of Alex Squires Dave Labrum (Sub for Dave Clay) and Dean Brookes, were drawn in the semi-final against Iver heath, Iver took an early lead 5-7 at 6 ends, our boys pulled it back to lead 9-8 at 10 ends and 15-12 at 14 ends, they continued to keep the narrow lead until the Iver skip trailed the jack back for 3 on the 17th end to leave the game hanging in the balance at 16 all. The Town trio held their nerve on the last end to pick up the 1 they needed to take their place in the final.

In the final they were matched up against 3 from Waddesdon skipped by Jamie Richardson. Bletchley flew out of the blocks leading 10-1 after 6 ends and 14-1 after 8 ends, the Waddesdon team started a mini comeback clawing the score back to 14-9 at 12 but our boys “PUSHED ON” to lead 19-10 at 16 ends they picked up 1 on the 17th end to clinch the title

Congratulations to Alex Dave and Dean Benevolent Triples Winners 2017!!
