Results Update



With the season well underway here are a few updates on how we have been getting on in our competitive games. So far we are doing quite well.

Bucks Cup

We started our campaign against Wolverton Town in a very close game we managed to win the game 61-57 winning on 3 rinks and losing one so we picked up 12 points

The second game was against Bletchley St Martins this game was more comfortable than the opening game and The Town ran out winners 86-46 winning on all rinks to pick up maximum points.

Bowls England Club 2 x 4s

We have played one game so far against Olney at home we won on both rinks with the total score being 47-32.

In the next round we face Woburn Sands away on the 30th May at 6pm.

London & Southern Counties Shield

In the shield we were drawn against Leighton Buzzard this proved to be a tricky tie with the scores really close throughout thankfully our boys hung on and ran out winners 47-39. In the next round we face Bovingdon which will definitely be a challenge on their artificial green. The date is to be confirmed so keep your eyes open for the updates

Tony Allcock Trophy.

This is quite a new competition the team comprises of 4 men and 4 ladies over the age of 60. Our team took to the road and travelled to Woburn Sands. On this occasion the opposition proved too strong and we lost 40-23

Bowls England Top Club

In the first round of this competition we were drawn against Stony Stratford, a very tough opening round that was always going to be hard. All our team performed well and we progressed to the next round with a win.

2 wood singles Won 15-14

4 wood singles was not completed the score was 19-20 when the overall game had been won

Pair Won 21-17

Triples Won 20-10

Fours Won 26-10

In the next round we will play Wolverton Park away.
