Bucks Cup Semi Final
Today "The Town" took on Waddesdon BC in the semi final of the Bucks Cup on a mission to make their third final in as many years.
The morning didn't start too well as Mal failed a late fitness test and the team had to be rearranged to accommodate the changes. A massive thank you to Norman for coming as reserve and stepping into the team at late notice.
Rob Graham and Dean took on a strong triple containing Middleton cup player Eddie Pilgrim who played a cracking game turning many heads in Waddesdons favour.
Norman Ben and Rhys took on a rink skipped by county regular Trevor Room, a big 6 on the second end gave the Bletchley boys a good early lead which they managed to hang on to.
President Pete Nathan and Gerry we always in control of their game and ran away with a convincing win.
Gareth, Dave West and Don took on a rink skipped by Oxfordshire's Middleton Cup stalwart Ray Gaskins. This game was always nip and tuck with our boys leading by 1 Don didn't need to play his last bowl as the game was already secured meaning they came away with a honorable draw.
