Alex Glennie

Last night we sadly lost one of the best characters our Bowls Club has ever had.

For everyone that knew Alex I'm sure they will agree that he was larger than life, one of the funniest men we ever had the pleasure of meeting and an absolute true gentleman that had time for anyone and everyone.

Most people from other clubs will remember him in the Millennium year when he was our club captain, and what a captain he was. From literally making notes of everything from scores to teams, down to even the fines he happily dished out to near on every member of the club that year.

Everyone who met Alex will always remember when they met him for the first time and they will 100% all have a different story to tell about the great man.

Rest in Peace Alex. You'll never be forgotten ❤💚
