BLETCHLEY TOWN BOWLS CLUB
*********************************
We are fast approaching the festive season, and what a festive season it’s going to be. After last year’s last minute cancellation of our festivities, we are doing our best to get things back to normal this year. But first…
Our AGM is being held on Sunday 14th November 2021 from 1230 in the Club. Come along to see how we have done during the past 2 years. Maybe you fancy joining the committee? There are numerous roles for those who wish to help out in the background. Please come and support this.
Friday 10th December sees our Christmas Quiz Night. Starting at 8pm, and for a cost of just £3 per head, you and up to 5 others, can get together to form a team. To prove yourself the brains of the Club. The quiz will have a festive theme, with nibbles, and there will be a cash prize for the winner. Be there or be square!
Have you got your tickets yet for the Christmas raffle? If not, then you may be too late – they are selling like hot cakes. Simply check out the board at the Club, and if there are squares still for sale, for just 50p each, they could be yours. There are some great prizes up for grabs, and if you have any unwanted items which could be added to the list, see Sue Brookes asap. The draw will be made on Sunday 19th December at lunchtime at the club. Maybe you could pop down to have a festive drink, and witness the draw. And maybe collect your prizes afterwards? Good luck!!
If you are planning to give Christmas cards to your friends at the Club, there will be a postbox in the clubhouse, where you can leave cards for other members. Simply post them in, and then make sure that you pop in to collect yours!
Fancy a drink on Christmas Eve? The club will be open in the evening to kick off your celebrations.
And we will be having our New Years Eve party in the club again this year. Full details will be sent out shortly, but make sure you come down to see in the New Year with us from about 8pm til late. The disco is booked, the party hats are ready, food plans are underway, and it promises to be a great night for all. Sadly it is an adult only party, sorry!
