Taff and Donna retain 2 wood titles

Today was the annual 2 wood singles day at the club with a men competition and a ladies competition running simultaneously.

Throughout the day we saw many close games with more than one reaching an extra end.

The finals were contested between Donna Brookes and Nicky Moffatt in the ladies and Peter Benson and Rhys Lee for the men's.

Donna took and early lead and managed to hang on to it as Nicky fort back. Donna winning 16-12

The men's final was very nip and tuck Rhys would go in front then Pete would peg it back to take the lead himself. With the score at 13-12 at 19 end Rhys got the 2 needed to make the 20th end the last. Rhys winning 15-12.
